At Diversified Financial Services inc. (DFS Inc.), we are committed to providing our clients and web site visitors with exceptional service. DFS is committed to take all reasonable measures to protect the privacy of Users with respect to the personal information they provide and will give effect to the principles, terms, and conditions contained in this privacy policy in accordance with applicable privacy legislation, including the requirements, procedures, exclusions, and exceptions provided therein.

Subject to applicable privacy legislation in Canada, it is understood that, by accessing or using the web site, filing an application or asking about or for DFS's products, solutions or services identified in the web site, users agree and consent to the collection, use, disclosure, retention, and disposal of the personal information required by DFS for the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy or for a use consistent with those purposes.
Collecting Personal Information
Unless the purposes for collecting personal information are obvious and the client or web site visitor voluntarily provides his or her personal information for those purposes, we will communicate the purposes for which personal information is being collected, either orally or in writing, before or at the time of collection.

  • When we require legal advice from a lawyer

Using and Disclosing Personal Information

Providing Clients and Web Site Visitors Access to Personal Information Clients and web site visitors have a right to access their personal information, subject to limited exceptions.
A request to access personal information must be made in writing and provide sufficient detail to identify the personal information being sought. Upon request, we will also tell clients and web site visitors how we use their personal information and to whom it has been disclosed if applicable. Client and web site visitors should direct any complaints, concerns or questions regarding DFS Inc. in writing to Diversified Financial Services Inc.
